Notes
Students hard at work in McFie Hall library. McFie Hall was the first building on campus in 1890, and the first library at the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts. The library was moved out of this building in 1909. One year later, McFie Hall was destroyed by fire. Its cornerstone, originating from the Organ Mountains, still stands in front of the Hadley Hall on the Horseshoe. Edited based on Grumet, Vol. 1.
