Historical context
Located on the east end of the Horseshoe, Young Hall was constructed in 1928. It was named for Judge R. L. Young who was a prominent lawyer in Las Cruces and played a major role in the establishment of Las Cruces College. He also served on the Board of Regents from 1932 to 1933.
