Historical context
The Department of Chemistry occupies ten rooms in Science Hall. There are two lecture rooms, an office and departmental library, a laboratory for experiment station and State work, two supply rooms and laboratories for teaching. The laboratory for general chemistry is well equipped with the usual facilities for this kind of work. The laboratory for analytical chemistry is equipped with a full line of reagents, stock chemicals and apparatus. It is equipped for teaching qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis and assaying.
