''Alumni Richard Buvens (Class of 1917) and Edward (Ted) R. Lester getting ready for the road race that took place from El Paso, Texas to Phoenix, Arizona in November of 1919. Buvens was the mechanic and Lester was the driver of this ''big Hudson super they dubbed 'The Hudson Hellhound.'' Cited from the October 28, 1919 issue of the Round-Up.
