Note on verso: Irrigation is a subject of vital interest to everyone who contemplates establishing a home in the West. Enormous quantities of water fall in the form of rain and snow. Hitherto the largest part of this valuable water has been lost - allowed to escape in the form of floods. Now the United States Reclamation Service is devoting its energy to the saving and storing this water in convenient reservoir sites.
