Note on verso: U.S. Highway 70 winds along the floor of this narrow but fertile valley in Southern New Mexico. The blossoms in the spring send off a perfume that can be detected even when travelling in your car. The valley in the fall presents a picture no artist can paint when the leaves start turning every color of the rainbow
