Note on verso: Sesqui-Centennial International Exposition, Philadelphia, Pa, 1926, U.S. Department of the Interior, The Bureau of Reclamation organized under the Reclamation Act of June 17, 1902, is engaged in the investigation, construction, and operation of irrigation projects in the 17 arid and semi-arid States of the West. Twenty-four projects are under construction or operation by the bureau or the water users. The funds for the construction work come from the sale of public lands, from leasing and other mineral operations. The money is repaid to the Government by the settlers in graduated payments over a period of years, and is reextended for the construction of additional projects
